Vidya takes on Kareena

 

Heroines and their costumes go hand in hand. Be it fighting with your co-star over one, or throwing a fit over not liking the dress – costumes have suddenly become the talk of the town, all thanks to the leading ladies. So, if you thought director Madhur Bhandarkar’s forthcoming film Heroine was the only one that was creating a lot of buzz about its leading lady and her abundance of costumes, then there is a ew addition to that.

Hot on their heels is actor Vidya Balan starrer Dirty Picture as well. Actor Kareena Kapoor will be seen sporting around 130 costumes designed by fashion designer Manish Malhotra in Heroine. Not to be left behind is director Milan Luthria’s film Dirty Picture. According to our sources, Vidya will be changing around 100 costumes throughout the film. “Vidya, who is portraying the role of Silk Smitha in the film, will be seen in a lot of different costumes,” the source says. Though Dirty Picture doesn’t have an enormous budget like Heroine, still they have made sure that Vidya’s character looks as genuine as possible. “From normal clothes to clothes for elaborate song and dance sequences – they have around 100 costume change for Vidya everything included,” the source further adds.
