Actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza are set to
have a lavish February wedding and insiders insist that
preparations are already on in full swing. Never mind that
the actors themselves are busy finishing their film together,
and Riteish has even started work on his next, the families
of the two actors are ensuring that nothing be left for
the last minute. According to sources, the wedding itself
will be done in the traditional Maharashtrian way.
Genelia, incidentally, had always wanted her wedding to
be a white gown affair in a church, reveal sources close to
the star. She is however excited about being a Maharashtrian
bride and draping the Navvari and sporting the traditional
nath and the mundavlya, say sources.
“I think every girl dreams of having that white
gown fairy tale kind of wedding,” Genelia
had said earlier, but had then added, “At the
end of the day however, what matters is
who you marry and not how.” Sources
close to the actor reveal that the actor is
actually quite excited about dressing as a
Maharashtrian bride. “She hasn’t finalised
her bridal attire yet, but is keen to
dress as a traditional bride,” the
source adds. Interestingly, the actor
had an onscreen wedding in last release,
Force, with actor John Abraham,
in which she was dressed as
a Maharashtrian bride too.
