It happened when actor Shah
Rukh Khan requested him to translate
some of the highly acclaimed
dialogues of Hindi cinema into
Marathi. And actor Riteish Deshmukh
took his love for Marathi a
notch higher at a recent awards
ceremony. An onlooker said,
“Riteish gave lessons to
SRK in Marathi. SRK
kept all the seriousness
of the dialogues
alive and repeated
what Riteish said in
Marathi. He was
surely not-so-perfect
in his accent, but the
effort was great
and they had everyone
in splits. Later
they also performed
to the Marathi version
of the song, Chamak
Challo. Initially, Shah
Rukh was surprised to hear
the Marathi version, but
soon enough he danced like
no one was watching along
with Riteish.”
