All roads lead to Goa, as the
42nd International Film
Festival of India kickstarts
today. Conceptualised by
renowned art director
Padmashree Thota Tharani,
the official poster of this 10-
day festival was launched on
Monday by IFFI director Shankar Mohan and
filmmaker AK Bir. The theme of this year’s fest
is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (The Whole World
is One Family) and under that more than 100
movies from over 65 countries will be
screened. The global cinema festival will see
various firsts too.
