Trip down memory lane
| ||
As the country gears up to celebrate Independence Day
tomorrow, what better way to spend August 15, than catch a glimpse
Bombay as it was many years ago. This vintage art exhibit features
unpublished archival prints of the city on canvas. Taken from a private
collection, Bombay 100 years Ago, shows the city during the British Raj
with quaint streets, horse-carriages and trams. Some of the prints
capture areas such as Flora Fountain, Churchgate, Apollo Bunder and
Sandhurst Road. These images have been treated with a particular ink
that guarantees that they will last for years. A limited edition of only
10 prints per picture will be produced upon request.
