The success of crime shows like Crime Patrol,
CID, etc seems to have prompted the launch of a new crime thriller Arjun
on Star Plus. A weekend fare, the serial will have a strapping, young
guy Arjun solve criminal cases. Played by Shaleen Malhotra, Arjun is a
cop, who has the ability to single-handedly solve cases that fox the
best of minds. Says Shaleen, “Arjun is an all-guns blazing cop, who
doesn’t think twice about acting on a situation, if he thinks it’s
right. He never goes by the book and has a non-conventional way of
solving cases.” Shaleen, who was a part of the adventure show Roadies,
has also done a lot of stunts in Arjun. From jumping from 60 feet
containers in a shipyard without a harness to diving into the sea and
shooting underwater, Shaleen is doing it all. “Stunts give me an
adrenaline rush. I am an adventurous guy and I love the action in the
show,” adds Shaleen. The show is slated to start next week. |
