Actor Ashwini Kalsekar — who was last seen
playing the role of Hirabai on Zee TV’s Jhansi Ki Rani — will now be
seen entering the channel’s other show Hitler Didi. The actor will be
seen playing Rani Batija, a sharp tongued, scheming lawyer, who will
take on the impending rape case in the show. “I think the audience has
accepted me as a baddie since they enjoy my evil expressions and
scheming demeanor and I like it too. Where’s the fun in playing Miss
goody two shoes (laughs)? In Hitler Didi, I will be playing the role of a
lawyer. Though I agree to fight the case for Indira, I will switch my
loyalties to the side that offers more money,” reveals Ashwini. |
