Back in 2014, college student Sarthak Sardar had no clue about wheelies or stoppies. He'd never heard of BMX or MTB bikes. And he thought bicycles always moved on two wheels.

Then, one fine day, Sarthak, saw a 15year-old practising amazing stunts on his bicycle. The boy twisted and turned, stood up, crouched down, raised a wheel skywards -and did a series of jaw-dropping manoeuvres that let him own the empty road space like a gymnast in a performance arena.Sarthak was hooked.

Today, just over three years later, Sarthak and a band of 20-odd boys are part of a huge team of stunt cyclists.Going by the name of Stunt Snofferzz, they can perform elaborate stunts.

And here's the big question: where do you think they learnt the tricks?
From videos available on the internet! Yes, Sarthak and his gang picked up the nuances of this extreme sport by just reading up on the net and watching hours and hours of videos online.

It was not so easy in the beginning though. Sarthak started out alone and depended solely on information he picked up online. His passion for the sport soon found him a companion in Pritam De, another teenager who wanted to take up stunt cycling as well. Over the months, their group grew gradually.

“This is pure adrenaline rush. Being city boys, we don't have mountains or oceans. But who cares, we have our cycles!“ said Pritam, brushing up on some stunts on Sunday afternoon. The group's preferred location of practice is the parking lots of the building or deserted areas.

The boys can perform over 30 stunts, they claim, including regulation ones like wheelie and stoppie and tough tricks like rolling stoppie and switchback coffin. The team puts in a few hours of practice every day and almost all of them are skilled at even repairing the bikes.“Damage is inevitable when you're performing stunts. So it's a must to understand the repairs. It saves money,“ shared Sarthak.

The bikers operate on generally two types of cycles, BMX Flat Land and Mountain Bikes (MTB), which have shock absorbers, special brakes and five gears. Each such bike starts from `15,000. “We're all from middle-class families and it's not always easy to arrange the money . But all of us maintain a balance between studies and cycling, which is why our parents don't object,“ said Santanu Pal, another biker.

Parents get really worried when they return home with injuries. “Every other day , he would come home with a bloody elbow or a bruised face. Initially, I'd thought he was involved in some criminal activity in the name of cycling. But when he invited me to one of his shows, my outlook changed,“ said Santanu's mother Soma Pal.

But for these avid cyclists, family objection is the least of their headaches. The biggest challenge is to find a proper place to practice. Though they use the parking lot of a station, they are often chased away by police.“This sport requires stamina, concentration and hard work, but it is unfortunate that most people still think it is a waste of time,“ felt Sarthak.

When we spoke to his neighbours, we found that he was not far from the truth. Most of them did not have any idea about the sport, or thought the boys were setting up a circus group.“When you have cricket or football, why do you do stunts?“ is the general refrain.

However, their teachers seem to be more supportive and see their involvement in this extreme sport as something positive. “Boys of Santanu's age get involved all types of unlawful activities. At least they are doing something positive, which is not harming the society in any way ,“ said Raja Chandra, a retired school teacher and the Santanu's private tutor.

यो‍ग दिवस को लेकर आयुष मंत्रालय के नए फरमान से विवाद बढ़ सकता है. मंत्रालय ने आदेश दिए हैं कि 21 जून को योग के दौरान ऊँ मंत्र का जाप जरूरी होगा.

सूत्रों की मानें तो आयुष मंत्रालय ने इस बाबत पूरी तैयारी कर ली है. बताया जाता है कि 21 जून को योग के दौरान ऊँ मंत्र का जाप हर भाग लेने वाले के लिए जरूरी होगा.

मालूम हो कि पहली बार यह दिवस 21 जून 2015 को मनाया गया था. इसकी पहल प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 2014 में संयुक्‍त राष्‍ट्र महासभा में अपने भाषण से की थी.

ये होगा कार्यक्रम
आयुष मंत्रालय की प्रेस रिलीज के मुताबिक, योग दिवस पर कुल 45 मिनट का कार्यक्रम होगा. इसमें 6 मिनट गर्दन और कंधे से जुड़े आसन होंगे. दो मिनट प्रार्थना होगी और इसके बाद 23 योग आसन किए जाएंगे.

करेंसी का वर्चुअल विकल्प 'बिटक्वाइन' एक बार फिर खबरों में है. पिछले करीब सात सालों से दुनियाभर में प्रचलित 'बिटक्वाइन' का निर्माता एक गुमनाम व्यक्ति सातोशी नाकामोतो को माना जाता था. लेकिन, पिछले सप्ताह इस मामले में नया मोड़ आया, जब आस्ट्रेलिया के एक तकनीकी कारोबारी क्रेग राइट ने दावा किया है कि डिजिटल कैश सिस्टम के तौर पर बिटक्वाइन को उसी ने बनाया था.

क्रेग राइट ने अपनी पहचान का खुलासा तीन मीडिया हाउसों- बीबीसी, द इकानॉमिस्ट और जीक्यू- के समक्ष किया है. राइट ने कहा है कि वही सातोशी नाकामोतो हैं और 2009 में उन्होंने ही इस करेंसी को लॉन्च किया था. शुरू में अपनी पहचान छिपाने को लेकर क्रेग ने कहा है कि बिटक्वाइन से संबंधित किसी भी तरह की नकारात्मक धारणा को खत्म करने के लिए उन्होंने ऐसा किया है.

बिटक्वाइन' असल में वित्तीय लेन-देन का एक वर्चुअल माध्यम है, जिसका प्रयोग इंटरनेट की दुनिया में यानी वेबसाइट के माध्यम से होता है. मुद्रास्फीति, ब्याज दर और बाजार के उतार-चढ़ाव का इस करेंसी पर असर नहीं होता है. दुनियाभर में अब यह 'क्रिप्टोकरेंसी' का एक प्रचलित माध्यम है. इसके वितरण की अधिकतम संख्या 210 लाख तक रखी गयी है और इसकी कीमत वितरण में आयी बिटक्वाइन की संख्या से तय होती है. मौजूदा समय में प्रत्येक 10 मिनट में 25 बिटक्वाइन का निर्माण किया जाता है, लेकिन आगामी जुलाई में यह संख्या 12.5 तक सिमट सकती है, यानी प्रत्येक 10 मिनट में बिटक्वाइन निर्माण की संख्या मौजूदा समय के मुकाबले आधी हो सकती है.

क्यों कम हो रही है रफ्तार?

'द फ्लीट स्ट्रीट लेटर' नामक न्यूजलेटर के इन्वेस्टमेंट डायरेक्टर चार्ली मॉरिस के हवाले से 'मनी वीक' की एक रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि 'बिटक्वाइन' के निर्माण में कई जरूरी फैक्टर्स का ध्यान रखा जाता है. उन्होंने यह आशंका जतायी है कि अगले चार वर्षों में प्रत्येक दस मिनट में इसके निर्माण की संख्या इससे भी आधी हो सकती है. मौजूदा समय में करीब 155 लाख बिटक्वाइन हैं और इसके निर्माण के लिए तय किये गये नियमों के मुताबिक 210 लाख से ज्यादा संख्या में इसे नहीं बनाया जा सकता है. इसकी सीमित सप्लाई एक पावरफुल फोर्स है और इसी सीमा के कारण दुनियाभर में यह लोकप्रिय भी हुआ है.

क्रिप्टोकरेंसी आखिर है क्या?

क्रिप्टोकरेंसी को डिजिटल करेंसी कहा जा सकता है. 'क्रिप्टाेक्वाइन्स न्यूज' के मुताबिक, क्रिप्टोकरेंसी सामान्य मुद्रा की तरह ही एक्सचेंज का एक माध्यम है, लेकिन इस मुद्रा का डिजाइन वर्चुअल तरीके से किया जाता है, न कि भौतिक रूप से. डिजिटल माध्यम से विनिमय के मकसद से इसे क्रिप्टोग्राफी के कुछ तय सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप डिजाइन किया जाता है. क्रिप्टोग्राफी का इस्तेमाल ट्रांजेक्शन को सुरक्षित बनाये रखने और नये क्वाइन्स के निर्माण को नियंत्रित रखने में किया जाता है. क्रिप्टोकरेंसी के रूप में पहली बार 2009 में बिटक्वाइन की रचना की गयी थी, लेकिन मौजूदा समय में और भी कई ऐसी क्रिप्टोकरेंसीज हैं, जिन्हें अल्टक्वाइन्स के नाम से जाना जाता है.

क्रिप्टोकरेंसी का इतिहास

सबसे पहला क्रिप्टोकरेंसी बिटक्वाइन है. इसके डिजाइन में 'एसएचए- 256' का इस्तेमाल किया गया है, जो अमेरिकी नेशनल सिक्योरिटी एजेंसी द्वारा डिजाइन किया गया क्रिप्टोग्राफिक हैश फंक्शंस का एक सेट है. 2011 में लिटक्वाइन जारी किया गया था, जिसे ऐसा पहला सफल क्रिप्टोकरेंसी बताया गया है, जिसमें 'एसएचए- 256' के बजाय स्क्रिप्ट को हैश फंक्शंस के तौर पर शामिल किया गया था. 2013 में लिटक्वाइन ने मीडिया का ध्यान उस समय आकर्षित किया, जब बाजार में इसकी कीमत एक अरब डॉलर को पार कर गयी़

क्या भारत में वैध है बिटक्वाइन?

बिटक्वाइन का भुगतान करनेवालों के गुमनाम होने के कारण कई देशों में इसका इस्तेमाल अवैध माना जाता है. हालांकि बिटक्वाइन की वैधता की स्थिति अलग-अलग देशों में भिन्न-भिन्न है.

जहां तक भारत की बात है, तो यहां रिजर्व बैंक ने इसे अब तक रेगुलेट नहीं किया है और इस्तेमालकर्ताओं को बेहद सतर्कता से काम करने को कहा है. वर्ष 2013 के बाद भारत में भी इसके इस्तेमाल की खबरें आयीं हैं. अहमदाबाद और बेंगलुरु की कई फर्मों ने इनका इस्तेमाल शुरू किया. इनफोर्समेंट डायरेक्टोरेट ने 'फेमा' यानी विदेशी विनिमय प्रबंधन एक्ट के तहत इसमें गड़बड़ी पाये जाने पर रोक लगा दी. पिछले वर्ष जांच के बाद प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने यह कहा कि भारत में बिटक्वाइन का ट्रांजेक्शन आतंकियों को फंडिंग मुहैया कराने, सट्टेबाजी और हवाला कारोबार को बढ़ावा दे सकता है. दिसंबर, 2013 में रिजर्व बैंक के डिप्टी गवर्नर के सी चक्रवर्ती ने एक बयान में कहा था कि बिटक्वाइन को रेगुलेट करने की रिजर्व बैंक की कोई योजना नहीं है.

हालांकि 'क्रिप्टाेक्वाइन्स न्यूज' के मुताबिक, भारत में यह प्रतिबंधित है. इस वेबसाइट ने उन देशों कीसूची प्रकाशित की है, जहां यह प्रतिबंधित है और इसमें भारत का नाम भी शामिल है. वहीं दूसरी ओर, भारत में बिटक्वाइन एक्सचेंज के सबसे लोकप्रिय वेबसाइट 'जेबपे डॉट कॉम' के सह-संस्थापक संदीप गाेयनका का कहना है कि भारत में यह पूरी तरह से अवैध नहीं है.

इसकी वैधता को दर्शाने के लिए उन्होंने एक लॉ फर्म नीशीथ देसाई एसोसिएट्स द्वारा जारी एक 'व्हाइट पेपर' का हवाला दिया है. उनका कहना है कि भारत में किसी भी मौजूदा कानून के मुताबिक बिटक्वाइन अवैध नहीं है. साथ ही उन्होंने सेंटर फॉर इंटरनेट एंड साेसायटी, इंडिया द्वारा पोस्ट किये गये एक लेख का भी हवाला दिया है, जिसमें इसका समर्थन किया गया है.

क्या भारत में इसका इस्तेमाल होता है?

हालांकि, भारत में इसका इस्तेमाल करनेवालों की संख्या बेहद कम है, लेकिन ऐसे बहुत से पोर्टल हैं, जहां इनका कारोबार होता है.

विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि अवैध होने के बावजूद सरकारी करों से बचने के लिए विदेशी लेन-देन में बहुत लोग इसका इस्तेमाल करते हैं. भारत में कई वेंडर्स इसे स्वीकार करते हैं. विदेश में मौजूद वेंडरों को भारत से बिटक्वाइन भेजे जाने के भी अनेक मामले सामने आये हैं. कुछ भारतीय स्टार्टअप्स ने बिटक्वाइन वॉलेट सर्विस की शुरुआत भी की है. भारत में सबसे पहले 'बीटीसी एक्सइंडिया' ने इसकी शुरुआत की थी. हैदराबाद की इस फर्म ने रीयल-टाइम के आधार पर बिटक्वाइन एक्सचेंज की सेवा शुरू की थी.

'बिजनेस टुडे' की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, अहमदाबाद के एक सॉफ्टवेयर डेवलपर ने डिजिटल करेंसी के तौर पर इसकी शुरुआत की. कमीशन के तौर पर वे कुछ रकम भी लेते थे. बाद में उसने इस काम के लिए 'बाइसेलबिटको डॉट इन' के रूप में बाकायदा एक ट्रेडिंग प्लेटफॉर्म लॉन्च किया.

बिटक्वाइन का वर्तमान और भविष्य

ऐसे में बिटक्वाइन ने नयी वित्तीय दुनिया को एक नया विजन दिया. कर्ज के बोझ से दबे देशों की पर्चेजिंग पावर में एकाएक कमी आने और उससे किसी संभावित नुकसान से संरक्षणहासिल के प्रति ऐसे देशों में बिटक्वाइन की खरीदारी ने आम लोगों में भरोसा पैदा किया है. पश्चिमी देशों का मौजूदा वित्तीय ढांचा बैंक और क्रेडिट कार्ड कंपनियों पर आधारित है. भारत में भी यही प्रवृत्ति विस्तार ले रही है.

हालांकि, सरकार की अनेक कोशिशों के बावजूद भारत में अब भी एक बड़ी आबादी बैंक और क्रेडिट या डेबिट कार्ड के दायरे से बाहर है. ऐसे में जिस तरह से मोबाइल फोन ने करोड़ों लैंडलाइन सिस्टम को खत्म कर दिया, उसी तरह से भारत में नयी पीढ़ी के लोग भविष्य में वित्तीय ढांचे के तौर पर बिटक्वाइन को स्थापित कर सकते हैं.

विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि तकनीकी रूप से सक्षम होने के बाद इंटरनेट की तरह ही बिटक्वाइन आधारित वित्तीय ढांचा तैयार हो सकता है, जो दुनिया में एक नयी क्रांति ला सकता है. इंटरनेट की तरह ही बिटक्वाइन तक कोई भी फ्री में पहुंच हासिल कर सकता है और इसका नेटवर्क पूरी तरह से विकेंद्रीकृत होगा. साथ ही बिटक्वाइन का नेटवर्क सबसे तेज, सस्ता और आसान होगा, जिससे किसी भी व्यक्ति को आसानी से रकम भेजी जा सकेगी.

हालांकि, भारत समेत दुनिया के अनेक देशों में फिलहाल इसके इस्तेमाल पर कानूनी पाबंदी है, लेकिन देश में अनेक ऐसे कारोबारी फर्म हैं, जिनके माध्यम से इसका इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है.

ब्रिटेन और सिंगापुर जैसी प्रोग्रेसिव सरकारों ने अपने-अपने देशों में इसके इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी दे रखी है. इतना ही नहीं, इन देशों ने इस मुद्रा के व्यापक प्रसार के लिए तमाम कंपनियों को समुचित माहौल मुहैया कराने का भरोसा भी दिया है.

भविष्य में इसका इस्तेमाल तेजी से बढ़ने के बारे में 'न्यूजबीटीसी' की एक रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि विकासशील देशों में रहनेवाले अरबों लोग भविष्य में इसका इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. उदाहरण के तौर पर इसमें बताया गया है कि अफ्रीका के दूरदराज इलाकों में रहनेवाले निवासी अपने कारोबार को वैश्विक स्तर पर पहुंचाने के लिए बिटक्वाइन का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं.

चूंकि इसकेे इस्तेमाल के लिए खास तकनीकी दक्षता और तकनीकी साधनों की दरकार नहीं होती, लिहाजा वे आसानी से भुगतान हासिल कर सकेंगे.

50,000 बिटक्वाइन वॉलेट बन चुके हैं भारत में ट्रैक डॉट इन की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, बिटक्वाइन के वैश्विक कारोबार में तेजी से बढ़ोतरी हुई है. दिसंबर, 2015 में इसका कारोबार प्रति माह 35 अरब डॉलर तक था. रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, डेल, एक्सपीडिया, ओवरस्टॉक और जापान की इ-कॉमर्स कंपनी रकुटेन समेत ऐसी अनेक बड़ी कंपनियां हैं, जिन्होंने अपने वेबसाइट पर बिटक्वाइन को स्वीकार करना शुरू कर दिया है.

भारत में भले ही इसके बढ़ने की गति धीमी है, लेकिन लोगों में इसके प्रति जागरुकता तेजी से बढ़ रही है. भारत में सालाना इसका कारोबार 500 करोड़ रुपये तक पहुंच गया है. भारत में करीब 50,000 बिटक्वाइन वॉलेट बन चुके हैं और रोजाना करीब 700 से 800 तक बिटक्वाइन का कारोबार होता है. रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, पाबंदी के बावजूद चीन में भी इसका इस्तेमाल व्यापक पैमाने पर होता है.

यदि रेलवे दुर्घटना में किसी भी व्यक्ति की मौत हो जाती है तो उसको चार लाख का मुआवजा देने का प्रावधान है। इतना ही नहीं व्यक्ति के के हाथ या पैर की चार अंगूली कट जाने पर रेलवे बोर्ड दो लाख रुपये का मुआवजा देता है, क्योंकि इसका खुलासा आरटीआई में हुआ है। आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता ने रेलवे विभाग के डीसीसीएम से आरटीआई के तहत सूचना मांगी थी, जिसमें यह सभी बाते बताई गई।बहुत कम लोगों को पता है कि रेलवे विभाग किसी भी दुर्घटना होने पर मुआवजा देता है। आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता एवं एडवोकेट पवन तिवारी ने रेलवे विभाग के डीसीसीएम आलोक चतुर्वेदी से दुर्घटना होने पर पीड़ित व्यक्ति को शरीर का कौन सा अंग खराब होने पर कितना मुआवजा मिलता है और मौत होने पर कितना मुआवजा रेलवे बोर्ड दिया जाता है। आरटीआई के तहत मिली सूचना में पवन तिवारी ने बताया कि रेलवे दुर्घटना में मौत होने पर मृतक के परिजनों को चार लाख का मुआवजा, शरीर के हाथ या पैर की चार अंगूली कट जाने पर दो लाख रुपये, हाथ व पैर की क्षति होने पर चार लाख, अंगूठा कट जाने पर एक लाख बीस हजार, एक आंख की क्षति होने पर एक लाख साठ हजार देने का प्रावधान है और पीड़ित व्यक्ति को बोर्ड में अपना शपथ लगाने पर मुआवजा मिल जाएगा। आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता ने कहा कि आम लोगों को इसकी जानकारी नहीं होने के कारण मुआवजा नहीं मिल पाता है, जिससे वह वंचित रह जाते है। इसलिए रेलवे दुर्घटना के पीड़ित को मुआवजा के लिए रेलवे बोर्ड में अपना पत्र लगाकर मुआवजे की मांग करनी चाहिए।

एक साल तक पत्नी को रख सकेंगे
आईजी मेघवाल के कहा कि यह नई योजना अपने शुरुआती चरण में हैं और इसके मुताबिक जवान शादी के एक साल तक अपनी पत्नी के साथ बॉर्डर पर रह सकते हैं. इस योजना के लिए घर बनाने की तैयारियां शुरू कर दी गईं हैं.

बेहतर तरीके से रह सकेंगे जवान
परिवार के साथ अब जवान बेहतर तरीके से रह सकेंगे, टेंशन कम होगा और उनकी कार्य क्षमता बढ़ेगी. बीएसएफ अधिकारी जरूरत के मुताबिक मकानों की संख्या और अन्य जानकारी जुटाने में लगे हैं. एक बार जवानों की जरूरत का खाका तैयार हो जाने पर मकान बनने शुरू हो जाएंगे.

इसके साथ ही सीमा पर महिला सुरक्षा गार्डों की तैनाती और उनके लिए अलग क्वार्टर्स बनाने की योजना भी तैयार कर ली गई है.
