After
leading BJP to ravishing victory in the Lok Sabha elections which left
the parliament without a proper opposition, Modi became one of the most
promising and awaited prime minister of India.
He toured the powerful countries of the world attended summits and conferences across the globe and initiated programs for the common people of India. He started working on projects targeted to fulfill the needs of Indians on a global level. A global survey rated Indian PM Narendra Modi a close second just after China’s President Xi Jinping.
As reported by Yahoo, the study, which surveyed 26,000 respondents in 30 countries, was conducted by Japanese firm GMO Research, and its findings were published in a research paper released by Tony Saich, a professor at Harvard University’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation.
Xi was ranked favorably by 94.8 percent of Chinese respondents on domestic issues and 93.8 percent on international affairs. Modi was second, receiving 93.2 percent domestic confidence on domestic issues and 93.3 percent on international affairs. He was followed by Russian President Vladimir Putin at 86 percent on domestic and international affairs.
