CARING FOR STYLED TRESSES
If you've got a hair styling
done lately, remember it can be extremely challenging to take care of.
Here are a few ways you can do so...
FOR WOMEN WITH REBONDED HAIR
Hair
loss is common among those with rebonded hair. Use a shampoo that is
only designed for straight hair. Apply a leavein hair serum after
towel-drying your hair. Oil your hair at least twice a week.Use
essential oils like lavender and steam your hair every 15 days to aid
hair growth and give it deep conditioning.Use natural hair masks like
aloe vera gel, curd or olive oil with egg once a week and go for an
occasional trim.
FOR WOMEN WITH COLOURED HAIR
Maintaining coloured hair is the
most difficult of all. This is because you have to constantly use
shampoos and other hair care products which are suited for a coloured
mane. While there are many products that are easily available in the
market, choosing one according to your hair type is challenging. Ask
your hair stylist to give you a product that will keep your hair colour
in place. Also, avoid going in for any sort of hair treatment that may
fade it out. If you've got a hair colouring done recently, make sure to
use SPF for the hair or wear a scarf or a hat before you step out of
your house, to avoid the sun from damaging your hair.
FOR WOMEN WITH PERMED HAIR
Those who've got perming done, you need to take special care of your
hair, especially if you've always had straight hair.Refrain from washing
your hair for at least 48 hours if you've got a perming done recently .
Leave your hair loose for the first couple of days and avoid doing a
ponytail or a bun. Further, wash your hair using a moisturising shampoo
that will condition your tresses and won't make it look harsh. If you
wish to use a comb, make sure that you are using one which is
wide-toothed. Use gentle strokes and avoid brushing your hair more
often.
FOR WOMEN WITH WAVY HAIR
If one thinks that caring for waves is
not difficult at all, think again. For women who have extremely curly
hair or straight hair and have got partial waves done, it can be rather
difficult to maintain. If you've had straight hair and have got waves
done, do not comb your hair too often. This will loosen the waves and
make your hair straight again. For those who've had curly hair and have
got waves done, a slight ironing will ensure that your waves are in
place.
