Sabah Khalid, a regular reader of Kids’ Corner asks, “Do you think all insects are harmful?” Then without waiting for a reply she answers, “Some insects are very helpful.” Sabah has created the following activity for us. Break the code and read the paragraph below to find how some insects are indeed our friends! Seilf, seilfrettub, selteeb and many others visit srewolf to collect ratcen and nellop to eat. In the process they carry nellop from rewolf to rewolf. This is called noitanillop and is needed so that the rewolf can form sdees or stiurf. Sredips are very helpful as they hctac lots of tcesni stsep, like seilf in their sbew. Seeb make yenoh, teews and packed with ygrene.
