Kim apologises for calling Indian food ‘disgusting’
After describing Indian food “disgusting’ on Sunday
night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, international
socialite Kim Kardashian took to her official website to set the record
straight, insisting she meant no offence to people of Indian heritage.
“I said that I thought Indian food was disgusting. In NO way was this
intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is
just my own personal taste,” News.com.au quoted her as posting on her
blog. The move followed heavy criticism from the Twittersphere after the
show went to air. “I think its good Kim Kardashian doesn't like Indian
food because that means she won’t ever visit India and that in itself is
a blessing,”
