“I was a year-and-a-half when I went on the sets of Amar Akbar Anthony
(1977) on the day that Paa was filming ‘My name is Anthony Gonsalves’. I
was too young to remember anything about the shoot but like any kid
from the ’70s, I grew up dancing to my favourite song,” reminisces
Abhishek who recently watched Amitabh popping out of an egg again to
recreate the iconic moment for Bol Bachchan’s title track. Quiz him on
the recent shoot and he says, “I have danced with my father before in
‘Kajra re’ (Bunty Aur Babli, 2005) and Ajay (Devgn) has a great working
relationship with him. We were both chilled out, it was Rohit (director
Rohit Shetty) who was super
excited!”
