Priyanka’s Twitter woes

http://www.realbollywood.com/up_images/Priyanka-Chopra-jealous.jpg

While most actors use Twitter to communicate with their fans and wellwishers, some of them converse with their fellow actors on the social networking site as well. Actor Priyanka Chopra, who has over a million followers on Twitter, went through a foot -in-the-mouth syndrome yesterday when something she posted was misconstrued. The actor, who follows a lot of Hollywood celebrities, which includes pop singer Rihanna, often retweets stuff on Twitter. Yesterday too, she happened to retweet something that Rihanna posted which read, “F*** I look like ho? I look like yes and ya look like no”, the four-letter word being the bone of contention here in question. A lot of her followers incuding actor Amitabh Bachchan were a little shocked with her usage of the word. Bachchan even went on to say how language on Twitter is of utmost importance. PC too graciously accepted her mistake and promised to make sure she would take more care in future with the language and the kind of tweets she would retweet.

Manasi shows her support for Karate

Singer Manasi Scott believes that physical
activities like karate, martial arts
and kick-boxing should be made compulsory
in India. Her comment comes after
actor Akshay Kumar had said, that like in
some other Asian countries, martial arts
should be made compulsory for all in the
country. Manasi says, “Yes, I agree with
Akshay. Karate is the best thing that my
parents did for me! It should absolutely
be made compulsory. It’s one of those
things in life that one needs to experience.
It gives you a tremendous feeling.
These defensive acts always come handy
in real life scenarios, especially for
women and they must learn these defensive
techniques.” Manasi herself has a
black belt in Karate. And her love for
martial arts stays with her till date,
shares the singer who is currently busy

Salman-Priyanka to come together?

Apparently the two actors, who've been rumoured to not be their friendliest best with each other, have been slated to perform together at an awards do

Actors Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra can't see eye to eye, at least that's what sources in the industry say. Every now and then, there's buzz of Salman making his dislike for his former co-star known as well. Apparently, it's also one of the reasons, why the two have not been paired opposite each other in a long time now.

So, it was quite surprising to hear that Salman and Priyanka have been slated to perform together at an upcoming awards show. The bash promises that both the actors will thrill the audience with their dance item. A source says, "Yes, both Salman and Priyanka have been lined up to be the star performers of the night. It seems that they have agreed to it too, burying their hatchet."
This comes as a surprise, as the two were known to be not on friendly terms until recently. When Salman's brother, actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan threw a gala bash on the same day as actor Shah Rukh Khan in the same hotel in Toronto during an awards function recently, the guest list included the who's who of Bollywood except Priyanka. An insider reveals that both SRK and Sohail's party were being held at two different suites and the guests kept flying from one party to another. "However, the only guest who remained present throughout at SRK's bash was Priyanka," says the source.
Recently, Salman-Priyanka problems escalated to a new level when in a recent interview he referred to his Bodyguard co-star actor Kareena Kapoor as 'the original desi girl!' Many took it as Salman taking a dig at Priyanka, since she was given the Desi Girl tag after her sexy track in the film Dostana. "Priyanka is not too happy about the fact that Salman is taking digs at her in public, whereas she feels that she is simply caught between the camps of Salman and SRK," the source adds. So, it remains to be seen if they indeed will come together to give an amazing performance.

Mr Money Changer!

If money makes the world go round, can Bollywood be far behind? Here we are talking about a filmmaker who makes Bollywood go around and who knows how exactly money changes its colours. This man is famous for giving flop movies. Though his movies are flops, most of them, he is still mostly in demand. There are money-bags falling over each other waiting to sign him and offer him as much money as he wants. Here dear friends, we will talk about something that Bollywood doesn't want to talk about too much. Why are flop filmmakers like him in so much demand? Well, here's why...

1This guy ensures that his film is declared a flop at the box office. Rest assured, you will always suffer a loss with him. He knows the mechanism with which whatever be the returns, he will show his production cost in such a manner than the producer will always incur a loss. Officially that is. Unofficially, well, it's a different story… You would have actually made a clean profit. So, you can safely invest your black money earn some more black money and yet you have a 'lost' business venture in your hands. This guy is a goose that lays more 'black' eggs. But nobody will know.
2He only needs the money. He will ask for 20 crore and at the end of it, he will return you 30 crore. He will get the actors, production team, he will hog all the publicity and will make such a trashy movie that you won't be able to sit through.
3He will ensure that you have a party for 120 days. That's roughly the number of days he will take to shoot. He will take you, the actors, the foreign dancers and the unit members to at least two foreign locales. You are expected to accompany him and trust us, you will not be short on 'entertainment'.
4The actors love him. Whenever you are running out of good films and in dire need of money, this is the man you turn to. He will pay you a maximum of three crore as the hero and fifty lakhs as the heroine, but he will make you 'visible' again through his well-oiled publicity machinery. Every actor lands up with at least two more films after working with him. He is the guy who will save you.
5Lastly, he is the guy who will make the maximum money out of the melee and will pay all his extras and assistants handsomely. So much so, that everybody talks about how generous that man is and everybody wants to work with him.
Doesn't matter if he makes trashy movies — he is Bollywood's aadha Robinhood — jo black money loot ta toh hai magar garibon mein baatta nahi hai…
