Mumbai Shravan Queen 2022

The effort, the hands held by the contestants, the dreams in the eyes at the same time... and in all these emotional movements the announcement of the winner and the jubilation that followed.

Richa Gaikwad became the winner of Maharashtra Times Mumbai Shravana Queen Contest 2022, Kripa Mhaske became the first runner-up, while Mohika Gadre won the second runner-up title of Mata Shravana Queen Mumbai Contest this year. All these three contestants will now compete with beauty queens from Pune, Nashik and Nagpur for the final title of 'Maharashtra Times' Maharashtra Shravan Queen Contest.

The finale of the Mumbai segment of 'Mata Shravanqueen' was held at Balgandharva Rangmandira in Bandra. Marathi films, dramas, serials are focused on this event. Many winners and runners-up of this competition have opened the doors of entertainment industry from the platform of Shravanqueen competition. Also, Shravanqueen has appeared as a model in many brand advertisements. This year too, entertainment giants were present at Balgandharva Rangmandira as special invitees to watch the performance of these contestants.

The Shravana Queen competition started with Ganesh Vandan. Along with the art presentation of the participating contestants, the former Shravanqueen and contestants who have gone under the mantle of this competition once again presented their art on the same platform and strengthened their position in the minds of the audience. Dance performances were performed by Yogita Chavan, Richa Agnihotri, Sonali Tambe and Durva Pokle. It was choreographed by popular dancer Phulwa Khamkar. This year's contestants were also prepared to break the mold of these actors who have settled in the acting field.

Out of 20 contestants, five beauties were selected for the final round from rampwalk, presentation, dress for the presentation. In this final round, they were asked the question of what is freedom and the contestants had to answer this question in 90 seconds. This answer decided the winner of the Mumbai round of the Maharashtra Times Shravanqueen competition. The Mumbai finale was judged by cinematographer, director Mahesh Limaye, dialogue writer-actress Mugdha Godbole, fashion designer Purnima Oak, actress Girija Oak and writer-actor Chinmoy Mandlekar. The examiners also boosted the confidence of the contestants by assuming the stress on them. The evening of the Shravanqueen competition was made more colorful by the coordination of Pushkaraj Chirputkar and Swanandi Tikekar.
