Vidya’s stylist calls her ‘half-naked’

Actor Vidya Balan’s own stylist has created a furore by claiming that the actor is ‘half
naked’ in her upcoming film. According to sources, Vidya herself is upset over the comments
made by Natasha Khan who styled her in the film. The comments were made on
a reality show where a fan is allowed to live the life of their favourite star for a day and interact
with his or her best friends. Vidya’s biggest fan Aman, had the chance to meet
her stylist Natasha. The duo got along like a house on fire. Natasha also spilled the beans
on Vidya’s look in the movie in the process. Aman asked her if Vidya would gorge on her
favourite parathas during the shoot of the film, to which came the reply, “Vidya is halfnaked
in the movie. She wasn’t allowed to eat all that!” Natasha also said, “The film is a
very sleazy and sexual and to get the feel of the movie, the crew would crack dirty jokes
amongst themselves!”

I don't understand reality shows! Actor Aruna Irani talks about her long innings on TV

I don't understand reality shows!

Actor Aruna Irani talks about her long innings on TV

At a time, when actors half her age are finding it difficult to sustain themselves in this highly volatile industry, veteran actor Aruna Irani is one of the few names, that've been actively associated with TV for more than 12 years now. Both acting and production have been on her agenda from the beginning. However having seen the tsunami-sized transition that the television business has encountered in recent times, Aruna refuses to refer to TV as 'small screen'. "What is small about TV today? Literally even the sizes of TV screens have magnified! And the kind of money that TV has today it has made the A-list film actors join it! In fact, soon TV will compete with films! I still can't understand why it is being called small screen!" she says.
TV clearly seems Aruna's favourite medium. "I came when TV as a medium was in its nascent stages," she reveals. "So, I saw the whole makeover it went through in the last 12 years. Apart from reality shows, I feel TV has done extremely well and will only grow bigger. As for reality shows I just don't understand their funda and strangely they don't even seem real to me. But as far as serials go, I am very happy to do a prominent role in a TV serial rather than do a film with hardly three-four scenes. However, many then A-list actresses still do such trivial roles!"
Caravan's graceful dancer, is currently playing Rajmata Mrinalini in Dekha Ek Khwab. "It's a huge responsibility and for me its a special feeling as it's for the second time I will be part of a show that replaces KBC. Earlier too, when I did Desh Mein... it too had taken KBC's slot and the show did well. Here too the show's name starts with the letter D and I feel that it's a sign that the show will do well. As for my role, I'm very excited, as I have been a fan of Queen Elizabeth since my young days," adds Irani.

Shahid’s back to work!

Actor Shahid Kapoor believes in working hard and hardly takes a breather when shooting, but the actor
firmly believes that it’s equally important to take a break every once in a while. And
the actor who’d treated himself to a minivacation to Europe post his hectic schedule
right up till the release of Mausam, is finally raring to get back to work. While
the actor was back in the city much earlier, sources say that his vacation wasn’t over
yet and he was taking things easy and chilling. But now that the vacation’s over, he’s
looking forward to start shooting again and tweeted, “So my extended vacation is
over as work beckons. Free time helps discover within and without
much needed and much recommended life has much…”

As a surprise, a smiling Aishwarya walked in at Janak, sporting a white and pink salwar kameez.

Just heard!

As a surprise, a smiling Aishwarya
walked in at Janak, sporting a white
and pink salwar kameez. The new
mommy literally looked in the pink of
health. When asked how she was feeling,
it was Abhishek who replied, “She
is very tired, but happy and excited at
the same time.” Though they are yet
to finalise a name for the baby, granddad
AB referred to her as the
Goddess Laxmi to have graced their
home. They would like the name to
begin with the alphabet ‘A’. When
inquired about the naming ceremony,
Abhishek quickly added, “My dadaji
considered that finding the right
name is sufficient, so we’ve never had
any naming ceremonies.”
